Box.net is similar to an ftp site, but free.
Box.net allows you to store files online, accessible anywhere. It is very useful as a digital backup for audio files and other large files that may be too large for a CD or USB key.
Using Box.net is easy:
- Go to Box.net and sign up for a free account (Lite)
- Create a new folder
- Select folder and upload your files
- You may link to the files online or send them to others
Always remember to save your work frequently when working with an editing program like Audacity. We recommend saving changes after every major adjustment.
